Our facility was constructed in 1959 and opened for business in 1960 as Harriston Fertilizers Ltd.

Harriston Fertilizers Ltd’s joint-venture with Cyanamid.

Cargill Limited
The Agronomy Company of Canada purchased the business in November of 2018 and Harriston Agromart Inc. was created. Harriston Agromart consists of 10 full-time staff, 8 seasonal workers, with a great record of employee satisfaction and retention.

19,000 square foot shop/warehouse – We continue to grow to meet your needs. On July 12, the committee, made up of members of Minto council, approved the variance requested by Harriston Agromart for the company’s 7.2 acre property on Wellington Road 109 south of Harriston. A report from the town’s building department explains the company, founded in 1959, serves the agricultural community by assisting growers across the province with supplying crop nutrients and inputs. It also offers crop protection services, crop planning and scouting, GIS field mapping and soil sampling.
