The successful applicant would possess the following skill set:

Key Responsibilites

  • Operation of application equipment to apply fertilizer and crop protection products
  • Efficiently maintains and performs basic repairs and servicing of location farm supply equipment and other related machinery
  • Delivers product to the customer accordance with safety and environmental precautions
  • Assists customers by retrieving purchased seed and chemical product
  • Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner, both on site and in the field
  • General help around the facility and other duties as required
  • Perform warehouse work as required
  • Training will be provided

Candidate Will Possess or Be Willing to Achieve the Following Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge to be able to operate and maintain all equipment and vehicles (sprayers, elevators, spreaders, trucks, etc.)
  • Good mechanical skills
  • A high school diploma or a minimum of two years of experience in using Agricultural equipment
  • Ability to work independently on assignments
  • Agricultural exterminators license
  • Basic knowledge of crops, fertilizer, and pesticides
  • Valid AZ or DZ license – or willing and able to obtain one with our support
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A high degree of problem-solving ability is required
  • Must be flexible with your schedule as more hours will be expected during peak seasons including evenings and weekends
